Ontario Building Code

Lloyd Alter wrote in TreeHugger that the Ontario Building Code for glass walls in condos does not specify an R-value whereas a minimum R-value is specified for the non-glass walls. http://www.treehugger.com/files/2011/08/why-architects-shouldnt-build-co...

Ontario's building code changed as of January (2012), requiring all high-rise buildings to be 25 per cent more energy efficient than the Model National Energy Code for Buildings(MNECB), a voluntary standard for buildings that is now the mandatory minimum in Ontario.
