Ontario's Supply Mix

Ontario’s electricity supply mix currently includes:

Nuclear: 12,978 MW or 37% - Pickering produces 15%  of the province's electricity (3,000 MW) - Darlington was the last plant to be built (1992)
Gas/Oil: 9,920 MW or 29%
Hydro: 8,462 MW or 24%
Wind: 2,925 MW or 8%
Biofuel (woodwaste, biogas, etc): 455 MW or 1%
Solar: 40 MW or 0.1%

*Generating resources as of June 22, 2015 
Note that these figures do not include generators that operate within local distribution service areas, except for those that participate in the IESO-administered market.
